There were a lot of MVNO launching nowadays, Tunetalk (Celcom network) , salamfone (Celcom network), Merchantrade (Maxis Network), Speakoutwireless (Digi Network), clixter (Umobile network) etc etc.
Today I just want to review a briliant MVNO prepaid that fit my needs
Which is long validity period … period…
As I myself is a Maxis postpaid user (due to my contract tie with my android device), I need a SIM card to put in into my Samsung galaxy Tab 10.1 as for my PAYU (pay per use) data plan and I do not actually use it. I sometimes need to online and sometimes I visited some place which do not have WIFI connection (adhoc internet connection, but unlike YES, u need a minimum 1 month RM30, which is sucks, that’s why i cancel it long long time ago)
Alrite, there is a new MVNO in town that offer that, which is Tron MVNO, www.tron.com.my (a new DiGi’s MVNO), the service provide you a 365 days without any contract ! doesn’t it sound great? and even when you reload RM10, you will get another 365 days on the day u topup the talktime (don’t you think this is also damn great too?)
I personally recommended that you guys that read my blog go and have a look at their prepaid plan which I think will feed your needs, although their data plan is abit expensive, but hey, you don’t actually use ur internet on your prepaid SIM everytime rite? you have Ipads, Tabs, iphone3G , iphone4G and SGS2 then you need how many SIM card in your pocket then? think again
A IT gadgets geek like me hold more than 3 devices when i go out, it is a pain in the ass when there are no internet connection and you will feel uncomfortable. If you want to have minimum commitment and you stay @ KL area, You could always get U-mobile then, their plan is quite cheap actually.
Make thing short because I am going to introduce this MVNO plan to you which has longest validity period in town, I have made some screenshot on the SIM pack and will let you see how’s their service benefits you.
You could go their rate plan page https://tron.com.my/tron/products-and-services/rate-plan and package plan page https://tron.com.my/tron/products-and-services for more information, if you feel that you are interested in their SIM pack, go to Sunway pyramid, or TCM (Tropicana City Mall) to buy one.
Actually I am not interested on their golden number which sell at the price of RM98 which included some value added service, some “groupon” similar website called MMP, but I am quite interested on their portal function, which enable you to reload via credit card (ipay88) and paypal, yes !!! IT IS PAYPAL, my favourite payment channel, I think this is the only telco (for prepaid) that provide reload via paypal, which fit my needs
The portal currently gives you reload via Credit card to their TronCash (Tron e-wallet currency) , and you can actually reload the Talktime via troncash (which i find very troublesome because i don’t use TronCash), which is good also so that I could spend wisely on my current prepaid talktime
You could also reload their talktime & tron cash via e-Pay channels by using 16 digits e-pins nationwide if you out of credits
